“I have suffered from knee pain for years and have had physiotherapy and have done more exercises diligently but I was going on holiday and wanted to be able to explore the city without being hampered by my knees, so my physiotherapist suggested I see Jo for a steroid injection. I am so glad I did, she injected my knee with steroids and I was able to enjoy my holiday and even better it has lasted more than 4 months so I have been able to continue exercising and sleeping!!”
I have been going to Jo for various problems for some time now and she has always been very knowledgeable, helpful and informative. My first treatment was for my knee and she injected Ostenil Plus and gave me off loading heel wedges for my shoes, my knee has been brilliant for a year now. I subsequently returned to see her with shoulder impingement and tennis elbow and these were both treated with corticosteroid injections and have allowed me to return to the gym and boxing. I would and do recommend Jo to anybody.
Joanna Gardiner has treated me on several occasions over the past years. Her ‘bedside manner’ is excellent, providing expert advice and guidance from the initial phone call, through to treatment in her lovely home clinic. Subsequent follow up advice is always on hand and I have 100% confidence in both her ability and knowledge of her services. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Jo seeking professional attentive treatment.
Jo treated my plantar fasciitis, she advised that it was quite a painful injection so I was prepared. She also advised insoles and exercises and I am pleased to say that with the injection and advice, I have been able to return to running and golf. I highly recommend her.
Jo treated my tennis elbow and it was pain-free for 2 months after the injection but I didn’t fully follow her advice, so I think that was why it didn’t last. She was very professional when I called and suggested not injecting again so soon but recommended soft tissue and physio intervention first as it was too soon. She suggested seeing Nacho at Bramhall Physio, who was great, very hands on. I’m hoping I may not need a further injection but if I do, I shall definitely go to see Jo.
5 stars. I saw Jo a few weeks ago and had a steroid injection into my arm for tennis elbow injury. Very happy to say my arm felt so much better straight away and I am hoping to get back to tennis soon after doing the exercises. I really recommend Jo, she got me booked in straightaway and was so helpful and knowledgeable
Thoroughly recommend Jo. Kind and very understanding and she also explains in detail about the pain and discomfort you are going through. Did more for me in 30 minutes than the NHS have done for me in the last 3 months. Had issues with my left wrist and she thoroughly examined my wrist and asked me what issues I had and where the pain was most common in my wrist. Administered 2 injections into the areas where it was most painful. Felt a difference straightaway. I plan to follow her advice and follow the exercises she advised me to do. Would most definitely see her again. She definitely doesn’t keep you waiting like the NHS.
Jo administered an injection to my shoulder, which was causing me a lot of pan and sleepless nights. I found Jo to be very knowledgeable, thorough, informative and professional. Jo made me at ease as soon as I arrived and one week on, my pain is significantly reduced. Jo asked me to update her a fortnight later at which point we could discuss any further treatment that might be required. After struggling for months waiting for NHD treatment, I feel it was so worthwhile seeing Jo. I now feel like I have support and hope that my pain can be fixed. Thank you Jo
